Steering Committee (SC) refers to the body responsible for overseeing the strategic administration of the Tribunal and authorizing investigations and hearings. The Steering Committee is composed of the President, the Executive Secretary, the Chamber Chairs, and the independent members selected by the President, who are persons of high moral character, impartiality, and relevant expertise. The Steering Committee shall direct the strategic administration of the Tribunal, providing oversight on all operational matters. It shall take all necessary measures to ensure the smooth operation of the Tribunal.
SC is responsive to the guidance of the Advisory Policy Council and Civil Society voices; and work in collaboration with the Media Committees to broadly disseminate the testimonies and verdicts delivered at the Tribunal over digital and traditional media.
